The Initiative is dedicated to empowering South Africa's youth to become ethical, innovative leaders who drive economic growth, social justice, and sustainability.

Through hands-on training, mentorship, and community engagement, we equip young leaders with the skills and mindset to address national challenges, encourage collaboration, and create positive change.

Inspiring content & deep reflection
Sessions on self-awareness, personal values, ambition, impact, dealing with conflict, work–life balance and critical thinking.

Nature & embodiment
Daily morning ritual (yoga, breathwork, tai chi or a walk), nature walks and time in the landscape to let things land in your body, not just your head.
 
Campfire sessions
Honest evening conversations about your story, struggles and dreams – individually and as a group.
 
1–1 counselling and coaching
Space to talk through personal questions and difficult decisions with experienced faculty.
 
Your personal roadmap
A concrete plan for the next 12 months: personal, professional and community goals, plus the first steps to take when you get home.
 
Our shared mission
As a group you’ll explore: What is our collective mission? What is our contribution to South Africa? What “emerging forces” do we want to nudge in the right direction?

You’ll be invited to answer big questions like:

What is my role in my community and in South Africa?
What is the dream I have for this country – and what is my part in it?
